comments:

"I don't think going down the outside was a risk - if there had been no space, I would have hit the rear of Rubens' car." -- Kimi Räikkonen

"I was just trying to defend my position and I didn't make any sudden move or anything so there was all the time in the world for other cars to move away from me.
The impact from Raikkonen's car crashing into my car, damaged all of the left sidepod and radiator and the floor and I couldn't do anything but retire." -- Ralf Schumacher

"You have to add that Ralf had really had bad luck and wasn't responsible for this collision. You also can't blame Rubens or Raikonnen, it was a race-accident, with a lot of bad luck.
[Reporter: Could have the collision been prevented if the drivers would have used their brain more?]
This has nothing to do with brains, it was a stupid coincidence. Raikonnen tried it on the outside, Ralf went to the left, Raikonnen to the right and somwhere in between was Rubens. It's nobody's fault. " -- Gerhard Berger
